My name is Robbie Miller owner and photographer.  I grew up
in Fayette County, WV in a small rural town called Robson.
About 45 minutes South of the states capitol.

I began my career in photography at an early age.  At the age of seven my first camera was a
Kodak 110 Instamatic.  I would go thru rolls and rolls of film documenting everything around
me and taking family snapshots.   Being the oldest of five children there was always a memory
being made.  Growing up every book about photography I would read from front to back.  I
would stare in awe at the images some of my icons had created.
Most notably Annie Leibovitz.

My adult career in photography began when I got the position
as district trainer for CPI Images in St. Louis, MO.
Then in 2007 I opened a studio "Mildun Studios Photography" in Downtown Oak Hill, WV.
In 2011 I relocated "Mildun Studios Photography" to Virginia Beach, where I currently reside.

I specialize in outdoor natural light photography.  The world offers to many beautiful scenaries
to be limited to a boring indoor background with artificial props.  Over the years I have
worked with many models and pageant girls including:

"Kristi Rader / Mrs. West Virginia-United States 2010" &
"Brittany Alberts / Miss West Virginia-United States 2011"

Models/Pageant girls are my favorite subjects to shoot.  My style is anything but traditional.
My style is a mix of photojournalist and creative portraiture with an artistic twist.

To me photography is about emotion and how to properly showcase
it in a photograph.  I want the viewer to be drawn
into the photo as if they are there.
